Pearl By The Sea

Pearl by the Sea is a brand new home, new to the rental market  and located in a premier development on a private street. It is at the end of the cul-de-sac w/ the most amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean, has 5 bedrooms (2 king, 2 queen and kids bunkroom) sleeps 12.  Elevator access from ground to first and second floors. Elevator does not go to 3rd floor. Hardwood floors, with a beautiful beach theme throughout.

All bedrooms on the first floor have access to oceanside deck and wonderful views. 2nd floor has fully stocked kitchen, great room and dining area with ocean views and occasional dolphin siting. Flatscreen TV's in bdrms and great room.

Just a short walk (2-3 minute) to the COMMUNITY pool where you can enhance your tan by the pool or sit under the shade overlooking the pool. Bring your tennis racket as our community also includes a tennis court!

Check-in 3pm/Check-out: 10am promptly. There are several superior golf courses nearby, shopping malls in Wilmington or Jacksonville. Or bring your fishing pole and catch your dinner right on the beach or off the nearby pier. The new Karen Beasley Turtle hospital opened in 2014 and not to be missed for young and old alike


We want your stay to be a pleasant one. We understand that you come to the beach to relax from the everyday stresses of life and ask that you be considerate of others, so that everybody can enjoy the splendor of North Topsail Beach. Minimum Age Requirement for rental

Because our home is located in the The Village of Stump Sound, community rules are in place to ensure the peace, serenity and enjoyment of all guests, residents and owners.

Our home is a nonsmoking house.

Rules are strictly enforced and violations may result in fines or surcharges being applied against the property owners. If a rule is violated by a guest of the Pearl, any fine or surcharge applied may be passed on to the guest.


There is ample parking in the driveways and under the house. All vehicles must be parked only on the Pearl property, not on roads or common areas.

A Village of Stump Sound sticker is required for vehicles parked in clubhouse parking area. Vehicles in the clubhouse parking area without sticker are subject to being towed at the vehicle owner's expense.

Boats, Trailers and RVs:

Boats and trailers may only be parked under the house. Parking boats or trailers in the driveway, on the streets or on community property is prohibited. Renter is responsible for all damage to house caused by parking. RVs are NOT permitted in the Village of Stump Sound and off-site parking must be arranged in advance for large boats and all RV's.  

Trash Collection:

Trash is collected on WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY mornings from April 1 through September. (Wednesdays only during the off-season). Recycle: WEDNESDAYS ONLY year-round. 

Trash receptacles may be put out on Tuesday and Friday nights only. After trash pickup, trash receptacles must be promptly returned to an area of the property not visible from the street. Flip Flop Inn guests are responsible for putting out and taking in trash receptacles.

Beach Dunes:

There is a beach crossover near the Pearl as well as a walkway to the beach through the village clubhouse. DO NOT WALK ON ANY PART OF THE DUNES. Walking on the dunes can erode them and put the island and property at risk during severe weather and high tides.

Swimming Pool:

The Village of Stump Sound community swimming pool is open during the summer months from sunrise to sunset. No more than 40 persons are allowed inside the pool area at a time. There is NO LIFEGUARD at the pool. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (21 or older) unless they have passed an American Red Cross intermediate level of swimming.Children who are not toilet trained must wear diapers and tight-fitting rubber pants or commercial swim diapers. We don't want nuggets floating in the pool. Sand and salt must be rinsed off before entering pool. Please use the shower on the beach catwalk or at the end of the pool.There is no running or ping permitted.Loud or offensive language or behavior will not be tolerated. Please do not play radios and other recording devices loudly. Offensive or unruly behavior may result in guests being evicted from the pool.No glass or food is allowed in or around the pool area.An emergency telephone is located at the end of the pool and a First Aid Kit is located next to bulletin board on the outside clubhouse wall. Pool is monitored by cameras. 

Tennis Courts:

Please honor a 1-hour time limit when others are waiting to play. Tennis shoes are required. No bicycles, scooters, roller blades, skateboards, etc. are allowed. Wheels can damage the court surface.

A copy of the Village rules is posted on the frig and available in advance upon request.

Rental Rate: Base Rate + linens w/ 10% NC taxes and $600 (Refundable) security depsoit. 
$500 due w/ contract
1/2 of total due w/in 2 weeks of contract date.
Final Payment  (1/2) is due 60 days before arrival

NC TAX 10%

If reservation is made less than 60 days of arrival, full payment is required. 

Linens included in PRIME Season Weeks.  Rental linens arranged for all othe weeks.

A Real Pearl!

This house is absolutely gorgeous. So well-decorated and perfect for a week at the beach. The view is amazing from all levels, the access to the beach is simple and quick, and the house itself is a perfect oasis. I love the king suite on the top level - I called it The Palace! I have been vacationing on Topsail for 30 years and this is the prettiest house I've seen to date. Susan, the owner, is wonderful and works with you to get everything right. Such a personal touch which is much preferred over the impersonal rental companies. I highly recommend The Pearl and Susan!

Fantastic Beach Home
